it was also 269 on prime day so 269 seems to be common price these days

I'm still salty about that "price error" with the Bose headphones from 2 weeks ago, really soured my impression of Bose.

If you look at the thread, the users are pointing out what Bose did from a customer service perspective, and why many users have suggested that consumers should boycott the brand.

Too much entitlement over something that was too good to be true to begin with.

well, I disagree, if they listed a product at a certain price, they should have honoured that price.

I would agree with you if the at least tried to amend the situation. I honestly needed the soundlink cable and when asked to honour at least the cable they basically said to order again and pay the shipping. So I just gave up on the whole thing.

Also, I think it is important to share that experience so people can make well informed decisions.

I got both the XM3 for 299 and QC35 for 216 on sale recently. Thanks RFD!

Returning the QC35 even though it's cheaper. Not an audiophile by any means but the clarity, ANC, swipe controls and overall design of the XM3 are leagues ahead of the Bose.
