Nice marketing strategy. If they were up front about it like on the black Friday sale, I may consider setting the alarm clock. I think I will just wake up normal time and see what surprise is in store, just like a little kid waiting to open Christmas presents.

Hey everyone, I suggest you check your BestBuy.ca online accounts. It seems all my personal information (address book, credit card info, etc.) has been wiped! I couldn't even log into my account, as their system couldn't even recognize my password.

After registering a new password using the same email address I went into my Orders, and I couldn't view any of them. The only way to view your past orders is to log out, and enter in the order # along with your name and the postal code that's associated with the credit card that you used for payment of that order.

You will see current orders that you've made since Dec. 24, but anything before that I cannot see. Very stupid system.

The $179 listing is from a third party seller. From the looks of things, they only adjusted it to that price today (probably in anticipation of the Amazon sale). Here's the link to the page with Amazon as primary the seller.

Their sales start at 3:00 AM EST (an hour from now)
