Two ink replacements for this unit probably cost more than the printer itself.

I guess the price has gone down a lot since I last owned an inkjet. Gotta love China...

Really good price for this printer. I paid $81.96 for it back in February and it's been fantastic.

I am using refillable ink cartridges with auto reset chips that I got off ebay so the cost of ink is dirt cheap.
When ink level is low, I just pop out cartridge and refill via syringe. Pop back in and voila, back to full.

If anyone has this printer and is interested in this method, this is the seller I purchased from:

Shop.ca has the J650DW for $99. With the $40 off coupon it comes up to $60+tax.

I dont know what the difference is between the J650DW and this one but they look the same to me.

you got an excellent deal, now 3 pack color oem is $30 and black color oem is $15, so $45.
the non chip, non-oem is cheaper but reviews show non-chip run into issues as printers sometime dont recognise them

you have the link of the product you bought?
