Walmart also has these for around $1/each this week. Regular price is around $1.75/each.

Yeah seems it's the same price per can ($0.97) at Walmart if you don't want to commit to 18.

Ordered these not long ago and the one pack had a few damaged cans so sardine juice was everywhere. Stunk horribly. Food products dont have a return option so there was no way to even submit a complaint or request for a refund. Just something to keep in mind. Good price though

Yeah, the easy open tins are very susceptible to rough handling.

Amazon appears to intentionally encumber all efforts to contact them, but you can initiate a "chat with amazon customer service".

If it was from A'zon, a quick chat will have the CSR doing a refund immediately. They don't even need or atleast ask for evidence. That said return history mite have a say in rma's going smoothly.

Don't just accept it next time. We in NA (& I'm assuming EU, maybe) have a great return policy so take advantage when its genuine. A lot if not most, in the far east would die to have the same.

Anyhoos never tried this before but reviews are great so ordered for a try. Thanks OP

How’s this compared to Costco’s canned sardine?
1. Buy cheap, buy twice
2. Don’t buy because it’s cheap. Buy it when needed or it brings convenience/happiness/better quality in life
3. Buy now think (regret/return) later
4. If the gut says don’t tell your lady, don’t!

Costco usually has Kersen sardines. The Brunswick sardines are smaller, and has a more pleasant aesthetic in the way they're packed.
Kersen doesn't look as pretty when the can is opened, but they taste pretty good. When they pop up on Costco.ca, they're usually priced at $14 for 8x200g.
Otherwise, you can get them direct at https://kersen.myshopify.com/. It's a bit more pricey than Costco, but these are freshly canned, and readily available.

Damn... these went OOS while I was typing this.

Not everyone’s cup of tea, if you like sardines you’ll like it

Walmart won't give me a plastic bag for them and other things so I will pass.
