Before you buy know you have to sign up for a subscription or this thing is absolutely useless. Also, I find it only works about 75% of the time

Edit: Specifically talking about the doorbell

You can do self monitoring, it works absolutely fine. I have been doing the same past 3 years.

Yes, but it was recently discontinued so unless you have a time machine it'll be hard to get one.

Any links? Why and ow can one use NAS or microSD for a security system? I get the use of NAS or microSd for the cameras, but I heard it is not possible for Ring products. Wh

You are comparing apples to oranges. If you add this to cart, Amazon bills you separately for both products $228 for the Ring kit and $47 for the echo. This is clearly cheaper than black Friday.

I picked up the 10 piece kit on Black Friday direct from ring and I was charged 204.88 on my card. The 8 piece was definitely cheaper than that.

Nice, how are you liking yours? I bought one and will be delivered in the third week of January. My experience with Ring's video doorbell and it's near real time notification delivery has been impressive. Are you having the same experience with the security system?

I surprisingly love my Ring Alarm. With the alarm monitoring subscription, all your ring cameras and doorbells are included and get the full storage and cloud features for no additional cost. It's a very flexible and stable alarm system.

100% false. I'v been a owner of Ring Alarm for a few years now. Never had to subscribe to anything. I get notifications on my phone when the alarm is triggered.

I have been using my alarm system for 3 years now its extremly reliable. more reliable then rogers system I had. I dont use any central monitoring and have couple of cameras for live stream. Always get notification for activity happening around the house like door open. Motion in living room. Never seen the ring alarm system failing. Also the app is easy to use.
