So who's the loser who downvoted?
Even the forum trolls have no sense of decency.

I didn't downvote , I thumbs upped and clicked the thing for free. But I did see you need to download audible in order to access it. There are lots of "free" things offered as long as you download such and such app.

Actually. Audible has this offer for ANY free audiobook with the download of their app all the time, take a look
Your text to link here...

So whoever it is may not be a "loser", they may just be objectively looking at the "free deal" and seeing it's a clever marketing ploy by a company leveraging patriotism through the use of social media in the hopes you stay signed up after 30 days for $14.95/month.

Anyway, this is maybe the closest thing to a "Happy Canada Day!" thread on this section we all frequent. So happy it's here and wishing you all a Happy Canada. I'm so thankful I call this country home. So grateful to be living here. Canada is so unbelievably awesome. Smiling Face With Open MouthSmiling Face With Open MouthSmiling Face With Open Mouth

Nah. I beg to differ. How else are you going to listen to a proprietary audiobook without downloading an app? MP3? It’s not 1995. Also, it’s Amazon, and they have other free audiobooks offered from time to time. This is a no strings attached freebie. So whoever downvoted this... well... ´L’.

You're probably confused. You can use Audible for free forever to listen to individual audio books you purchase. Or you can sign up for $14.95 a month and get one free book a month (some people consider that a good deal). In the same way that you can order on Amazon without having an Amazon Prime membership. It's the new business model (Spotify, Netflix, Office 365, etc.)

I got these 10 free audiobooks on my audible account.

A very timely book. And of course it is true. Why else would this be one of the most diverse societies on the planet, with the rest of the world always knocking on the Canadian door trying to get in?
