I've been using a 3L laundry detergent in a backpack for weight

I used to think the security guards in the mall had bullet proof vests all this time.

Been looking for one of these without paying over 100 or so. This is perfect for the home gym

I got a 20lb vest for walking on the treadmill. I don't find the discomfort worth it for the roughly 10% extra calories burned.

For those mentioning backpack with weights - please do yourself a favour and get this vest.

Backpacks with weight are a liability. It might not seem concerning, but putting weight that offset will force you to make subtle adjustments that push your body out of alignment. This weight vest keeps the weight over your center of gravity, keeping everything in alignment while you're pushing through your workouts. You will also find it much more secure, no bouncing/swinging as you will experience with a weighted backpack.

$30 to minimize injury risk is a small price to pay, I promise you.

That doesn't distribute the extta weight evenly and pulls backwards on your shoulders excessively straining for pecs and delts. Also leads to forward-head peaking as a compensatory mechanism. Overall, bad idea.

Thank you ordered.

I don't usually buy cheap weight stuff but for the price this looks good to try.

What if I wear a backpack AND frontpack for pull ups? Does this eliminate the offset issue?

Seems like it would, but back when I used to be able to do weighted pull ups, I would just trap a dumbbell between my feet.
