Nah, I'm gonna pass on button up pillow cases for now.

Linen?? Buttons?? Greige??

I can't think of a worse combo for a pillow case. Linen is typically a rough/coarse feeling fabric (on the flip side, it's lightweight and breathable for summer heat). I prefer satin or silk type pillow cases if my face is going to be smooshed into it for 5 - 9 hours a night!
Buttons - I guess you can always flip the pillows over so you don't wake up with button impressions on your face.
Greige? Today I learned a new color name!

if you want a really cheap pillow case, use an old t shirt.

I don't recommend this. Shirts often have heating and ventilation issues against the face.

Some men, like myself, are furnaces at night. Something you don't notice until partners let you know.

For various reasons, a cheap pillow case is better.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.

Agree and lol at your comment. Bamboo or organic bamboo is also a soft and cool fabric for a pillow case material.

Excellent recommendation! I have a set of bamboo pillow cases and they're a dream to sleep on ;) Definitely would recommend bamboo over linen, cotton or polyester.

That hardly makes this a "hot deal". It's basically regular price for pillow cases, with a complete lack of choice.
I just checked the Walmart ones. Those that are priced below 10 only contains 1 single pillowcase. This one has a set of 2.
There are few a bit higher priced that also comes in a pair, but they are standard size.
You can hardly find queen and especially king size pillow case at this price.
There are 2 colour choices for OP's set too: Light gray and griege.
As well, the ones in Walmart are made with 100% polyester. I'd much rather get the ones on OP with 55% linen and 45% cotton.

Thanks OP! My order arrived yesterday.
Happy with the quality. Nothing wrong with the colour either.
Even comes with a linen bag to hold the folded pillowcases together.
