Same price at Canadian Tire. Might be worth buying it there if you have any decent Triangle rewards.

Same price elsewhere but not with free shipping, so this seems to be the best deal right now. And it's good soap - biodegradable, doesn't bother the stuff in the garden next to my driveway, very foamy with a small amount in water, great in a foam cannon, rinses off easily. Thanks OP.

I'm a beginner/amateur car detailer. I have a lots of Chemical Guys products, but I just can't justify paying $30 for this soap/shampoo when you can get the same quantity from Costco's Turtlewax shampoo
Link: https://www.costco.ca/turtle-wax-hyper- ... 10652.html It's cheaper in-store at warehouse for $24.99?
I have the previous generation shampoo (green) that doesn't have the wax. I bought it on clearance for $9.97 lol. Bought three boxes of 6 pack each. I got years worth of reserve.

Last time I ordered this from amazon it exploded in transport and they refunded me instead of delivering it. I'll probably stick to buying at CT.

Buy more, lots more, like 20. Have them explode, bubble party @ your house, get refunded, and keep the remaining soap for car wash Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes

Anyone experience using both? I use the turtle wax and find it quite good with the foam gun and pressure washer but wondering if the hype of this brand is stronger/better?

I'm interested to hear from a car enthusiast too on this matter who tried both products. But it's really a hype/preference/brand-marketing thing at this point. Both Turtle Wax and Chemical Guys are both industry-leading car detailing suppliers who offer excellent products. Perhaps, from what I recall reading on RFD threads, you may get more suds (soap bubbles) from CG Mr. Pink Suds than Turtle Wax, that's probably about it... Oh yeah, Pink vs Green or Yellow... $30 vs $19.99 (thanks to JCCRFD for confirmation). I've been using Costco's previous Turtle Wax (green) car wash shampoo for 4 years straight on my car. Super satisfied!

pH is a very important aspect of a car shampoo and needs to be considered when you buy one. The green Turtle Wax is a completely different product than the yellow HyperFoam Turtle Wax selling on COSTCO now. The green is not pH balanced and should be used for deep cleaning and to completely strip off any sealants or waxes you have on the car to apply new ones. It does have 3 types of aggressiveness, depending on the proportion you use per gallon. The yellow HyperFoam Turtle Wax is Ph balanced, like Mr. Pink from CG and should be used in situations where the car is not too dirty and/or you want to keep the current sealant/wax.

I normally do use the green Turtle Wax at the highest aggressiveness at the beginning of Spring to completely clean the car from Winter gunk and apply a new sealant/wax and then again at the end of Fall to apply again a sealant for the Winter. For regular washes between Spring and Fall, I do use either Mr. Pink or Honeydow, both from CG. I have a tendency to think Honeydew has better foaming, but I might be wrong... I still need to try the new yellow HyperFoam Turtle Wax. It is already on my shopping list for next time at COSTCO! Smiling Face With Open Mouth

BTW, the $9.97 price COSTCO sells the green Turtle Wax at the end of September is unbeatable! I always buy a couple of gallons to stock at this time!

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I totally agree with that you said. Indeed, the green Turtle Wax is for a deep cleaning, and as you mentioned it has 3 levels of aggressiveness. I need a softer shampoo for the summer times now. I'll consider GC Mr. Pinks Suds.
