[Amazon.ca] Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil 250ml $4.97 (ADD ON)

I noticed that this Chosen Foods, 100% Pure Avocado Oil 250ml is on sale for $4.97. It's a good price if you just want to try it out. I haven't tried it yet but hear it is a good high heat oil, for making steaks/cast iron pans/etc.

Costco sells 1L bottles for $19 online as a comparison. EDIT: $16 Costco in-store.

It's around $15/L at Costco and goes on sale for $4/discount - awesome product, we use it a lot.

Note: This is the 250ml bottle, not the regular 750ml Bottle. They look similar in the picture, but ml are different.

I've recently discovered the importance of smoke points of cooking oils, and refined avocado oil tops the list @ a smoke point of 520F. It's supposed to be great for high-heat cooking like stir frying. I've been eager to try it out. Thanks OP!

Yup, my favorite cooking oil and should replace olive oil for cooking due to the smoke point. Keep my olive oil for drizzling on at room temp after for more health benefits. Avacado oil has less strong of a taste as well, I use it in baking and everything. +1 on getting it at costco on sale but if you can't get there or want to try a small bottle this is a good way. Not sure the price but I also heard they are cheap(ish) at wal-mart

I highly recommend avocado oil and this particular brand.
It is my go to oil for or mid / high heat cooking and it’s keto friendly and I think it makes food taste better, don’t ask me why. I have been using avocado oil for the past 6 months, I will always keep some in stock

Picked up the 750 ml bottle at Walmart this week for $13 and change. I like this oil!

While we have the Costco size in our kitchen, I've picked up this 250 ml version also. Avocado oil is a great carrier oil for homemade beard oils, etc., but the 1L size is too large for such small measurements/blending.

I like this brand of avocado oil, I use it for everything, baking, frying, even in dressing. I like avocado oil for its "lack of odd taste". I dislike the bitterness/spiciness of olive oil in my salad or the coconut taste of coconut oil in my savory dishes.

For those that aren't familiar with avocado oil, do yourself a favour and make up a batch of avocado oil mayo. The best!

Nice catch. Pretty sure it was this brand stocked up on last year 750ml bottles for around 6 or $7 , also on Amazon. If that comes around again, definitely will stock up.
