Regular is good (better than pastene at Costco), but Thai has crazy amount of sugar. Like 20% of the can is sugar

mmmm, Spicy thai.

I eat one a day, so thanks!

My kids call it, "cat food", but even my cats won't eat it, I love it.

Seems to be standard size for flavoured tuna.

Good enough for one sandwich IMO, lots of protein still in a can

Only 18 g =(. Hypertrophic anabolic bros would need at least 21 g, they couldn't give us at least that =(, just 3 grams?

Oo-la-la, regard ça, 30 g pour $0.97!

https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Clover-LEA ... 0074943818 , no flavour though. I'd just douse it in Tobasco sauce.

Never ordered groceries from them though.

I don't know about portion, but texture wise it absolutely feels very cat food-y. I like the flavor but the texture is a very hard sell for me.

Once again, walmart is a much better deal, especially when they run out of stock on certain items at shipping all the time.

The $15 off $60 coupon still works when they run out of stock. First order I paid $35 for 51 cans after getting refunded 20 cans, then $25 for 40 cans, then $30 for 45 cans. Only thing is you have to pick it up at their penguin pickup locations which was 1.5km away from me, might be further away for some people.

Shit that was a multi-meal staple per day back in my university days. Think that's how I became so batshit crazy? Feels like I never grew up from those days...I'm almost 40!

The unflavoured 170g cans regularly go on sale for under $1/can. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07656 ... UTF8&psc=1
Though I remember buying them on sale for ~about $0.33/can 20 years ago. That's about $0.57 with inflation adjusted.

Fortunately the concentration of mercury in tuna has been steadily increasing over the past few decades so what you ate back then might not have been so bad. Of course that also means you need a better explanation lol

Yeah, but Pastene sucks.

Lemme know when it competes with Rio Mare

I find the best way to eat these is with a toasted french baguette with melted butter.

A touch of miracle whip and ground pepper.
