[Amazon.ca] Cooler Master NR200 White SFF Small Form Factor Mini-ITX Case with Vented Panel ($99.56-$23.82=$75.74)

All time low for this awesome case. I have this. It can accept full size GPUs and even ATX PSUs. Superb build quality and easy to work in for its small footprint.

That case looked really nice when I was shopping for a case at Canada Computers.
Unfortunately it is too small for my build.

Lowest I see now is $82.

I built in an NR200P (same case just with clear panel and riser) a few weeks ago, OMG so much nicer than other ITX cases because of those panels that come off. The last ITX build I did was so frustrating I swore never to do ITX again but when I learned of this case on RFD and how all the panels come off I decided to give it a try and it's much easier.

The panels mostly snap on/off rather than screw, if that could be a problem for someone, for example it might make it a bit risky if you move the system around often and don't hold it well. There are a couple optional screws you can put in to prevent that. During my build when I replaced a panel one of the clips that it snaps into came free and flew off, I just had to pop it back in, but it did make me wonder a bit about how well those clips can manage to stay in especially if you plan to open your system often. One part I struggled a bit with was routing some cables behind the PSU, which technically blocks some of the PSU airflow but I saw someone do it on a youtube video and figured it wasn't that bad and a nice way to hide those cables.

You can actually put an ATX PSU in this too. I had planned to but didn't as I found an SFX for a good price before I got to my build.

They make an official ATX PSU bracket, and you can also 3D print your own or buy 3D printed ones on Etsy, that might have better features than the official.

Or just zip ties to hold, positioned in a couple different ways.

Really tempted to make a 5600x based rig, lots of parts going on sale at the same time
fits just fine with the mesh panel

I see that price as well...

I mean, sure you CAN fit an ATX PSU in this but would you really want to? Would it not destroy the minimal airflow the case already has? Genuinely curious.

I don't know, I guess my interest was because I already had a powerful enough ATX PSU sitting here to put in it. Then that Amazon discount error thing happened and I grabbed a powerful SFX. Then I saw this thread and figured might as well share the info just in case. But yeah, probably not much point putting ATX in this for most cases if you are buying all the parts now.

Too small?

What kind of build do you have?

I have an RTX 3090, 11700k with 240 mm rad, 5 fans total, 8tb hdd and 1TB NVME. The cooling is pretty good gets max 96 on VRAM hotspot on the 3090 while mining.
