If I buy this, will the ram go down to 2666?
all these 3200 RAMs are using XMP, meaning automatically overclocked if xmp option is enabled. Base clocks are 2133 or 2400 (rare).

Your Dell 3440 needs to have manual clock adjustment or XMP control to overclock it to 2666.

I bought all my 2666 sticks on ebay, very cheap.

check ur bios if xmp is enable. I bought a new comp with xmp disabled and it was set to base clock of 2666. Now it is 3000 with xmp enabled

If these arent listed on Ryzen or motherboard compatibility list, will it hit XMP profiles?

If you have a new-ish computer, check your motherboard manual. If you can, get the 3600Mhz RAM instead. It's normally a fairly substantial boost in FPS.

If you have a high end Intel, there is a specific RAM (g.skill I think... maybe Patriot, look on YouTube) that is a significant boost to performance, and it's around this price too.

I think the 3600 are actually listed as compatible?

The previous poster said yes, but I don't think they will. The dell doesn't have xmp, and the machine is limited to run at 2933mhz max.

If anyone knows a work around, I'd love to hear it.

But the answer is no.

I'll hold off on ordering. I'm also not sure if Dell motherboard provide enough power for RGB.
