[Amazon.ca] CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 Desktop Memory–Black - $342.48

Was waiting on a deal for 2x32GB DDR4 for months... finally pulled the trigger on this... I know 4x16GB is generally cheaper but I was looking specifically for 2x32GB and RGB is a nice added touch...

Usually ships within 1-2 months... I can't wait!

Very unfortunate timing for you but you just missed out on the $320 non-RGB version of this kit (check camels)... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07Y4ZZ7LQ

Memory prices are up right now due to the Micron fab downtime, may not be the best time to buy: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/micron-fab11-outage

EDIT: Also, looks like there are some nice Ripjaws that have the same specs here and are currently on sale ($309 + $7.99 shipping). I've heard that Ripjaws kits are better for Ryzen compared to the Vengeance LPX kits: https://www.newegg.ca/g-skill-64gb-288- ... -_-Product

If you compare the Ripjaws newegg page with the corresponding newegg page of the Corsairs, you'll find the Ripjaws actually have better timings too! https://www.newegg.ca/corsair-64gb-288- ... -_-Product

I don't usually like RGB (mostly stick to noctua brown), but I did build a pc for someone with 4 of these recently, and my gosh the effect is beautiful, very customizable and high quality lighting.

So hard to find 3600 timings, I feel amd prefers the faster timing. Esp close to cpu clock. Waiting for sale on 3600 cl16 32 gb kit. Black Friday was cold

Yeah I was on the hunt for a 3600 CL16 32gb kit in the last month and there was nothing. Way more expensive than 3200. I ended up getting a 3200 kit for $140 at Canada Computers. I'm running an 8700k though, not a new Ryzen, and the performance with 3200 CL16 has been fine for the last 3 years. Just needed more capacity for work since I'm now using my desktop for work instead of a laptop from a client and I want to be able to have a shitload of things open at the same time.
