[Amazon.ca] Crucial BX500 1TB SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD, CT1000BX500SSD1 - $107

Another Crucial SSD sale. Enjoy!

Edited to add: Good to see that SSDs are headed towards the $100 for 1 TB mark. Hopefully, we will soon see a decent or good quality 1 TB SSD for under $100.

BX500 DRAM-less so that's one thing to keep in mind, might be better to wait for another MX500 sale if you're not in a hurry.

It should be noted that the BX500 at 1TB (and 2TB) is not only DRAM-less but also QLC (anything 960GB or lower is TLC). I only really recommend these as a secondary storage drives and given the MX500 is only $8 more atm, just buy that instead.

That's so weird. I just ordered the MX500 for my son a couple of hours ago at $114, without seeing this thread,
and not being sure if it was a good deal or not. Gladi didn't sit and think about it!

With momentum cache enabled (download crucial storage executive) it uses 4GB of your ram for caching, so it's not that bad. But don't use this method if your computer crashes a lot or loses power because you will lose data.
