[Amazon Canada] CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD UPS $185

I've been happy with Cyberpower for their other UPS's I've owned over the years. Would have preferred a rackmount model but at this price I'll make do. This one has PFC which most find favourable to AVR.

Been using this with a gaming PC since 2015 Nov. (Which incidentally, was a lower price at $155 but it was never repeated. ) Very pleased with it so far. No issue whatsoever. Though I'm not really a heavy user and my area doesn't have power outage or spike all that frequently.

Prob battery stock from that old. I always worry and can't trust these after a couple years being that model in the fear they are not new batteries.

I bought one of these for my modem and wireless router the last time it was on sale. It made sure I had internet through 2 power outages so far.

Kind of off topic but can anyone recommend a place to get replacement batteries? My UPS died months ago (3 yrs old). Failed selftest. Same UPS as in the deal.

It’s shipping that usually kills the deal because of the weight of the batteries.
If you can pick it up there’s a place in Concord - just google UPS bateries Toronto and it’ll come up.

It tends to go on sale for $156 during the end of November (black Friday / cyber Monday). Still a good deal for $185 if you would rather not wait.

Just noticed price history on 3C doesn't exist for 2015-2017. Interesting.

I get mine from Infinite Cables. Specifically for this one.. should be two of these:

This kit is about the same price:

Batteries have insane crappy life in these. Most the time 5-7 years. How old are the Batteries in these? It could be 2-3 year old stock.

I feel like amazon would be one the the places that would have newer then most, as they have a huge potential customer base, and all from the same place (two warehouses in Canada). This rather then sitting in a local bestbuy or staples for who knows how long.

Just my thoughts...
