i have one that looks the same, i don't know for sure that it is the same, but i gotta say the rear view camera is garbage, i cant even use it most the time because its terrible quality and image is easily washed out by light.

The rear camera on most of these has a field of view that's not tall enough to capture what you want out of a backup camera. This one is only 120 degrees. You will either be able to see your bumper/road or the car behind but not both. You need to be able to see both to use it for parking.

I liked the idea, but it's too rich for my blood
that is just stupid, that battery will be dead so quickly as solar power will not be enough to charge it....

Also unless its well made, chances are you're going to be getting at least half a second of delay.... and that is deadly....

I have the auto vox branded one and after a couple years needs to be replaced. Mirror adhesive wont hold, touchscreen menus wont work, rear camera is now totally non-functional. It was the only one at the time though.
Now it seems there are so many brands, are they all pretty much the same reliability?

Hi;

How easy are these to install?

Do you take them to a shop for installation? If yes, any recommendations?

Thanks
