I like how the airflow arrows shows tons of air coming in from the.....solid steel front hahah. Those tiny slits on the front side do nothing.

Another case of sacrificing air flow for aesthetic, and getting neither.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.

Does it cost more to make a mesh like structure on the front? I cannot imagine with the mass production tech out of China it would cost that much more to have a mesh plastic mold instead of this solid panel

+1 for effort op. But man when watching that review, you can tell he is most likely being paid. He tries hard to downplay the fact that this thing has really limited airflow.

Edit- for a good low price alternative, I recommend the nzxt h510. Beautiful case with decent airflow. It's currently 99 but goes on sale for 89 regularly

I think it has something to do with the tooling and quality assurance that adds costs. Gamer's Nexus did a video explaining what would it take to make your own case - and it is quite expensive to mass produce something like this.

At the end of the day, considering the price hikes, $80 for a decent case is not a bad deal. The front is plastic and easily comes off to clear the dust filters. I think I'll just drill some holes in it to improve air flow, see how that goes :)

I think a more honest review could be by Gamer's Nexus (Although this is not the tempered glass refresh, but still):

I am not defending this case, the air flow is not the best. But having recently built a few systems on a budget, it's a PITA to find anything reasonably priced that provides decent cable management balanced with some aesthetics.

For the price the case is... fine. Temps will be below average due to the restricted intake, but if your building a mid range pc or lower it will be good enough . Cable management is good. If you have the heat of something like a 3080 in the case you should budget for more fans.

Built a pc last year with this case at the same price. It's a great value. It was easy to build in and looks good. The airflow isn't a problem with a 3600X, AMD stock cooler, and rtx2060. No other fans were added or needed IMO.

White version of the window side panel (not tempered glass) is available for $70 here.

A good, bling and boutique case good for admiring the RGB lighting. However, airflow is a problem with a solid front like that. If your case just sits on the floor/under your desk, I would suggest getting a case with good airflow unless you're doing water cooling then this is a good deal for this case. A budget build with less powerful parts would also be another possibility for this case as well. Overall, a good case depending on the nature and purpose of your build.

Thanks for the heads-up, OP. Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

Agree. Sounds like they let him out of the factory where he makes these to shoot his video.
