[Amazon.ca] DEAD - NETGEAR 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch - $39.99

Got a 3camel alert for this today, lowest ever for a good unmanaged 16 port basic switch

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01AX8XHRQ/ref ... hDbXSD83ZJ

I think previously posted here at $59.99, so this is pretty good I believe.

Wow amazing timing. Ordered one yesterday at 59.99 on sale. Amazon gave me a promo credit for the difference.

Thank you op!

Very tempted. I have been maxing out all 8 ports on my current one for years now.
Does anyone know if you can daisy chain switches? Perhaps I will plug the 8-port one into the 16-port if it'll work to give me 23 total

I icked one up. I have 2 - 8 ports in the basement and replace them with this.

If you're installing networking into a new home, you'd probably need multiples of these.

Edit: This is in response to post #12.

You'll have 21 ports available...
1 allocated to the main router, 1 for the downlink to the other switch, 1 for the uplink to the previous switch.

I'm in the exact situation, but I can't figure out why do I want to do this besides saving electricity.
