Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is a much better device. But it depends on your value of battery life.

My Galaxy Watch 4 Classic lasts from 6am on day 1 with 15-25% left by 10pm on day 2. I use it for calls, previewing 100-150 emails, only responding to a few of them on the watch. And about 30-50 text messages, responding to most on the watch.

The big advantages are that it is wear os, lots of apps and practical uses. Initiating and responding to texts and emails and the same with calls is a big advantage. Along with the health tracking. BP and ECG can be installed without too much hassle as well.

The Huawei GT2 gets great battery life, over a week. But preset message responses is not very convenient. And there is a big difference in smart capabilities.

tldr... If you only want notifications and long battery is a must, go with Huawei. Otherwise, if you want all smart features and are ok with recharging every other day, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be perfect.

With huawei, you can't even take calls. Not that it matters alot but if you pay this much, you expect to be able to receive or reject calls. Samsung is much better engineered and apple watch the best by a long shot

This model GT2 46mm should be able to receive call notification, answer calls and reject calls.

How to check if your watch supports answering and rejecting phone calls
Actual support for this feature varies depending on the watch model. Check the information for your specific model.

Watch models that support incoming call notification and answering and rejecting calls: HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 (46 mm) and HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 Pro.

Watch models that support incoming call notification and rejecting calls: HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 (42 mm), HUAWEI WATCH GT 2e, and HUAWEI WATCH GT.

Watch model that supports vibrating for incoming calls: HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 (46 mm). When Silent mode is enabled, the watch will only vibrate to notify you of incoming calls.

I have this watch. You are able to receive calls. You also able to place calls to contacts on your list on the watch. Quality is good for me, range is good too. I can speak on driveway easily when my phone is in the house. Very convenient
