.... Borosilicate?? Any reason it's not glass?

EDIT: I read a thing, am less ignorant now. Borosilicate is high-quality glass (that Pyrex used to be made from) compared to lower-quality soda-lime glass (that many Pyrex products are now made from).

Borosilicate is a special kind of glass. You might know it as borosil or Pyrex.

6oz is a bit small, but thanks op

Just an FYI, a bought these last year and a pair showed up with cracks and another with a small hole which leaked liquid in between the panes.
Might have been my lot but it was returned.

I saw these at the Walmart in heartland a few weeks ago. They had another size as well, I'm not sure if it was 4 or 8oz. But they were $10 as well.

Iiiiii stand corrected. Borosilicate is way better than normal glass.

Forgive my ignorance, Internet!

Will be in for two when the latte-sized ones drop.

I like the double walled idea to keep your drinks warmer longer.

However these double walled glass are very thin, prone to break.

I now use a stainless steel doubled walled and practically indestructible under normal use.

Perhaps this is a man thing, but I love stainless steel.

I always thought double walled was for you to be able to hold a hot drink and it not burn your hand...
