[Amazon.ca] DJI Mavic Mini (1) FLY MORE COMBO with 3 Batteries, etc now $539.00 LOWEST ever (due to 2 being out) but excellent deal!

It appears the prices of Mavic Mini (1) have finally started coming down, since Mini 2 has been around for a month now...
(Wondering if the prices will get even lower for Black Friday / Boxing day.).

Amazon has Mini 1 combo and drone itself on sale right now.
LOWEST Price ever according to CCC: $539.00 for Mini 1 FLY MORE COMBO (with 3 Batteries).

https://www.amazon.ca/DJI-Batteries-Cam ... B07ZJZQQ8K

Also the Mini 1 drone by itself is also on sale for $419. (Not sure why there are two listings for it on Amazon):

https://www.amazon.ca/Mavic-Mini-Standa ... B07RQJHG8M
https://www.amazon.ca/DJI-Camera-Contro ... 07ZJZMFFH/

On DJI Site itself the sale price is:
$309 USD (~404.63 CAD) for the drone itself
$399 USD (~522.48 CAD) for the fly more combo

====
For Comparison Mavic Mini 2:

Fly more combo is $749 at the moment.
https://www.amazon.ca/DJI-Mini-Fly-More ... B08JGX61H7

And the drone itself is $569.99
https://www.amazon.ca/DJI-Mini-Ultralig ... B08JGYF5W1

The most significant differences:
1) the range: Mini 2 can fly up to 10 KM (due to Ocusync), whereas Mini 1 has 4 KM range.
2) And Mini 2 camera can shoot 4K videos + 12-megapixel stills while Mini 1 shoots 2.7K videos.

Staples had it for 499 with coupon before, and I can see further price drops soon.
I have this and personally I'd buy the new one..

Its not blizzards everyday.....
Most of us live in the GTA.
But the Mini 2 handles wind much better.

Honestly I wouldn't even take the Mini 1 if someone gave it to me.
Its too prone to fly away due to gusts and the remote aignal is very sketchy.
I have the Mini 2 and it handles wind past 45km/h with ease.
Range is nuts both vertical and horizontal.
RAW and bracket exposure is much more useful on it than the JPEGs.
It actually weighs about 238 grams so you can mount prop guards with its payload overhead.

Thanks for the tips guys.
Wasn't aware it was cheaper elsewhere already. That's great because it will hopefully drop even below $499. That would be my first real drone.

But per your comments may wait for sales on the new one. (will see if i can get some sportcheck discounted gift cards to help in that regard)

With the Mavic Mini 2 out this is probably the clearance of the Mavic Mini 1 inventory.

The Mavic 2 is an improvement over the Mavic 1 with 4K video, Ocusync, better wind handling but the Mavic 1 deal is hard to beat. The Mavic 2 Fly More combo reg price is $749 so for a savings of $210, unless you are dead set on having 4K video, Ocusync, etc., I'd go with the Mavic 1 if you're looking for an entry drone.

The lowest price was on Prime Day when the Mavic Mini 1 Fly More Combo was $499.

Why was this deal shelved? Still a pretty good drone for most people and it seems to be a great price. Not like a beginner (esp. me) is going to be flying this 5KM away and then complain when it gets lost.
