[Amazon.ca] Double Edge Safety Shave Deals

So for the cheap safety razor RFD peeps! I'm late to this bandwagon.

Is usually 4-5 bucks, on for 2 dollars. Stock up! (Min 2)

https://www.amazon.ca/Wilkinson-Sword-T ... =1-10&th=1

The Brush is also a good price, mixed review, good starter. (Click the second box next to the cream) min 2? Boo. Give one as gift Still a deal. 50% off

Blade up!

100ct Astra's Lowest:

https://www.amazon.ca/Astra-Superior-Pr ... uty&sr=1-3

Shoot the Feathers were down to 17.60 for a 100ct but are back up to 30.... No deal!

For handles I'd say hit up Aliexpress. Look up Parthenon or Qshave Adjustable safety. Amazon has the same one, but twice the price. This will save you $300 a year if you are using traditional store-bought.

Never tried the soap bowl. The affordable one I use is the Proraso one. Good for daily use but there are better ones I use (but more expensive). Not adverse to trying cheaper ones but just resupplied so...
Too bad I don't like Astra blades, albeit, I don't think I tried this exact one.
I do like and use this one though
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B009BQVOYU/ref ... yEbH2TFDRN
Used to get them for $1.50 for 10 but the place I got them from seems to be going redoing their site (again). Still, Amazon Price isn't bad.

Only 100 years or so. That design of razor was patented in 1904. Everything old is new again.

I have that brush. First one I bought when I first started using double edge razors. I do not recommend it. Stiff, sheds like crazy and does not lather up well. It's use is now for travel only and it sits in my dopp bag. Get something else or better yet invest in a decent one and it will last a life time. I use the art of shaving brush. Have had it for a number of years and despite it shedding, still performs like new. Lathers up soaps and creams really well. The brush holds a lot. Bristles are soft and helps with applying the shaving creams or soaps generously.

Wilkinson sword brush is possibly the worst brush you can find. It will shed like crazy. That was the first brush I ever had and it made me not want to DE shave years ago. Just get something simple like an omega

I won't touch Astras as they are a Gillette product. Many seemingly agree with this sentiment seeing as they lost 8 billion dollars previously for treating their customer base like garbage.

Thanks for sharing deals anyways op.

Good find, but I won't be putting any parabens on my face for any price.

So I've always just wet shaved with my DE in the shower and never bothered with any sort of soap. With the right blades, I find I get a great shave and little to no irritation. Worth trying out this soap at $2? I suppose I'd have to make up $25 of other stuff to buy to get it as an add-on, which is my only real hesitation right now.
