It's fine BTF-LIGHTING is an okay company. I've been using their addressable waterproof strips all around my roof of the house all year round for about 16 month and all good. One pixel was bad on one of the 6 strips and they replaced the whole strip for me free of charge.

If you build what was in the youtube video, It is pretty pricy. By all the links that were provided to build it, you're looking to spend at least more or less a couple of hundred dollars (I'm sure you can find alternate cheaper materials for less). It's trying to mimic the Nanoleaf. It looks pretty well done. I like it.

How many of them can be safely added in a series. Thinking of putting around basement ceiling.

A lot of other items in BTF Lighting's Amazon.ca store are on sale for similar discounts as well. Bought some WS2812Bs, WS2815s and a couple power supplies.

Thanks. Yes, I also did a bit of reading last night and realized that for such a long run, I will have to run a lot of wires for voltage injections. Will be very difficult to hide so many wires and make it look good. Sigh.
