[Amazon.ca] EarFun Free Pro $62.99

I got mine couple days ago when it was $80 minus $15 credit, now it goes further down to $63 ($67.99 - $5) as a lightning deal. Always wanted to try the budget bths king Fiil T1 Pro but it is only available in the states, and this is supposed to be slightly better.

the build was pretty solid, nothing flimsy. sound quality is better than my jabra 65, not sure about battery since I just got it yesterday.

Earfun Free Pro specs:
Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC codec
IPX5 waterproof rating (rain and sweat resistant)
6 hours listening on a full charge
Charging case can charge earpieces fully 4 times
Comes with 4 sizes ear tips, 3 sizes sport-wings and USB-C cable

Reviews:
- 4.5/5 from Scarbir (was 5/5 when I bought it)

Thanks! I have the 2020 version of these, bluetooth 5.0 instead of 5.2 and the form factor is a bit different, but overall pretty pleased with them.

Keep in mind that there is no app for these earbuds so no remappable controls.
This is a pain if you want to go to the previous song/replay the current song using your earbuds, since that function is not mapped, and the controls are a bit weird for my taste.

I've seen YT vids of these Earfun pros & its mostly positive. That said, personally, I've always failed to see the raison d'etre of ANC on IEMs. By design, properly fitted IEMs attenuate exterior sounds by 25dbs on average which is more than enough to cancel out all external sounds when playing music. But still with enough pass thru for a somewhat normal conversation when off.

ANC just adds to complexity & battery drain on a unneeded feature. IMO ofcos. However active ambient passthru is definitely a very nice feature but I do find that it sounds tinny & artificial, at least on my Jab 65t & Sony 1000xm2.

I wonder how these EF pros compare to the non ANC EF F2 in SQ.
