[Amazon.ca] Echelon EX3 Smart Connect Fitness Bike, white $498.36

Echelon EX3 Smart Connect Fitness Bike, white $498.36

This is the cheapest SMART bike on the market working with automatic resistance on many applications like Zwift, peloton and others.

Note, this one comes with no subscription, perfect for someone who wants to subscribe for other bike applications like peloton, Zwift etc. Personally, I own Ex4s from Costco but, I do not use echelon application at all. I am using my bike with Zwift and QZ application for bridging the bike and Zwift, two devices required, one for Zwift/peloton/etc and another for QZ app. Or split screen on newest iPads or other tablets.

I guess no current stock but, Amazon allows to buy the bike and will ship it within a month or two. I bought a kvm switch with the same note and received it after one week. So, i guess whenever they get the stock.

I bought the Echelon Connect Sport for $600 from Wal-Mart a year or so ago and it was money well spent at that price.

I don't see any difference between that bike and this one. I expect this to fly off the shelves.

Edit: Already says "Usually ships within 1 to 2 months.".

This one has automatic resistance. If you have not tried it, I highly recommend. You will never go back to manually spinning that resistance dial again, especially during high intensity workouts.

That feature is a step up from the Wal-Mart offering, then.

If I needed a new bike, I'd jump on this. Others shouldn't hesitate. The Echelon bikes are solid products.

I believe the flywheel on the 699 walmart model is 20lb, while this one has a flywheel weight of 28.6lbs.

Was going to buy a renpho but bought this instead, will this work better for competitive racing in the apps vs the renpho?

The developers of QZ application is working on iFit integration. You can ask the questions in the Facebook group. He is very helpful. Link is below and search for iFit.
I think in the developer’s estimate, the implementation will take about one month.

Flywheel weight doesn't matter quite as much for the magnetic bikes. It'll potentially make the bike a little more stable. But the Wal-Mart bike is very stable, so it's no a huge selling feature. The resistance steps still appear to be the same between the two.

That said, it's another checkmark in the pro column for this bike over the Wal-Mart bike.

The only con is that the Wal-Mart bike comes with 6 months of free membership to Peloton classes and this doesn't, if that's of value. I liked the classes, but not enough to pay for them.

I don't believe this bike has the automatic resistance feature. I can't find any reference to it.
