I have the t8 aivi.

The self empty bin barely works.

The t8 non aivi is an absolutely great vacuum and great choice.

Wife and I have used it in a 2 story + basement house for about 8 months now almost daily. Love it.

I bought an i7, i9 and the t8 aivi to test out which I thought was best. The t8 was the clear winner.

The deebot app is absolutely dog water compared to roomba, but the t8 cleans much better and is much smarter.

I used to have the Ozmo 950 which worked very well. Mapping was excellent, almost always reliably returned to the charge station and reasonably quiet yet powerful. I also considered the N8+ that Costco had on special for $650 a few days back, that came with the self emptying bin and essentially the same as the T8 but a smaller battery (= lower run time) which ultimately was why I picked the T8.

This T8 doesn’t have a camera like the AIVI version but from reviews the object detection is more advanced to avoid cables, smaller toys etc. While a self emptying bin isn’t included, it can be purchased separately to work with this T8.

I would prefer to buy from Costco or Amazon, if there are issues in the first month, I want to be able to return it without any issues. Not sure Ali Express would be as convenient. Btw, Costco has an amazing one year return on their robot vacuums, I returned the Ozmo 950 after 7 months of purchase due to issues with the lidar and ecovacs warranty repair making a mess of things (long story) and Costco took it back no questions asked.
