[Amazon.ca] Emotiva B1 and C1 Speakers $276.18

Well I guess I should have waited but c'est la vie. The emotiva speakers have dropped in price! Lucky for you guys.

The B1s are wicked neutral speakers that sport AMT tweeters and are less than $300 for a pair. The C1 also sport the same tweeters and drivers and are also on sale for $320.54. They are an american brand and very similar to the Adam Audio T5V monitors (albeit the T5Vs sound slightly better). I use these for my home theater speakers and even for stereo listening they're awesome. Soundstage is incredible and the highs are out of this world. The transient response and tonal accuracy are the strengths of these speakers.

that's honestly the only place for it lol I cant place it in the tv stand since the other components wont fit. Also during movies it sits right underneath the letterboxing

speaker newb, anywhere to test these out? No idea if they sound well. What's the recommended power to drive these?

You can definitely purchase them and try them out. If it's not to your liking then you can return them. You don't require much to run them... I'm using marantz's slim line receiver and I think theyre 50watts per channel

Please wall mount the TV!

Not sure if their speakers are any good but I wish they had a similar discount for their power amps!

Just stack some books or styrofoam under the tv to raise it up the 3 inches. Problem solved.

Super happy with my Gen 1 XPA amps and XRef speakers. Won’t sell them. Hauled them across the country when I moved last year.
Good quality gear.

Cant mount the tv, in an apartment and I also cant stack it because the pedestal occupies most of the space on top of the stand. This is honestly the best option aside from a waterfall stand. But good luck trying to find one that supports a 110 lb plasma tv

I've had the Emotiva Airmotiv 5.1 setup for a few years now and can't say enough good things about it.

Summit Hi-Fi in Markham used to sell them and have them set up for testing but I'm not sure if they still do.

If those are the speakers that BB sold as a 5.1 the emotivas are lightyears ahead.

Tempting.

I've been lusting over the Adam Audio T5V or T7V as well as the new Kali Audio LP-6's.
