Not sure if this is a reoccurrence offer of the $50 off coupon for this camera.

Watch out for the Chinese spies - they still haven't patched the vulnerability in the latest firmware update, as far as I'm aware.

This is an excellent camera brand. Of course this is a battery operated camera, so be aware of the limitations. It's not meant for high traffic areas.

Does the battery actually last 180 days.

And how does it fair in the cold

Not even close to 180 days (~60-90 more like it, depending on location), works fine in the cold.

Spotty motion activation. If you're looking for the ability to maybe catch something happening on your property then these are fine. If however, you want reliable security, look elsewhere (ideally hard wired).

Installed this at my sister's house last winter.

1) It's okay with the canadian cold ;
2) Battery last approx 30-45 days (during winter), even on the light usage settings
3) very easy to install and UI is intuitive
4) microphone picks up from very far and good quality

overall recommended
I was there at the 32$ price error at dell.ca day AND at the 150$ off price error at fs.ca

I have the 2C PRO - works perfect - tried multiple motion tests in the backyard (day and night) and caught it every time.

Would NOT recommend if your wifi is poor. I do have a very strong wifi network (3X wired AI Mesh)

EDIT: After 1 month - battery is around 97% - I do have it in a low traffic area (sides of the house)

Just installed the 2k version of these cameras and quality is great! Ordered some waterproof cables from Amazo.com so i can wire through the soffit and charge them when they are low. I've been impressed with the Eufy system

Installed on the front door.

First attempt: dismal battery longevity because the camera would pick up street and sidewalk traffic.

Second attempt: repositioned to only catch people who walk up to the door. Battery lasted over 6 months, going through a Montreal winter without problem.

For high traffic areas, use the eufy wired version. It's excellent too. No subscription required.

I'm waiting for the 2C Pro to be available individually on Eufy's Amazon store, as it's the only Eufy outdoor camera I'll consider at this point. Drives me crazy that Eufy will only sell the 2C Pro in a bundle with the HomeBase. Ignores those of us who have other Eufy security products and already have a HomeBase!

EDIT - It's actually the 2 Pro I'm waiting for, not the 2C Pro.

Correction, thanks... It's the 2 Pro I'm waiting for, which is only available on Amazon in a bundle, not the 2C Pro.

Honestly Eufy, your naming convention leaves much to be desired!

It does and mine is still going! Still at 13% battery as of posting today.

See screenshot below.

To be fair, the one above my garage gets more detection, so I had to charge that one. But it still lasted 186 days.
