I have owned this since Jan. It’s good for light to moderate use.

For this price it’s a steal. I got it at 200 pre tax and am happy with it.

Just don’t use the highest setting or it could ruin the resistance band.

I had attempted to buy this spin bike: Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike By Sunny Health & Fitness - SF-B1423 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00XMHI7LC/ref ... UTF8&psc=1

Last week, but I can't get it shipped to me for whatever reason.

I just bought this one instead. I know nothing about exercise equipment, but really need to lose covid weight and do some cardio for health.

What are the main differences between these two bikes? I assume the sunny health one provides more resistance for strength training with the bigger wheel?

Resistance band? It says this is magnetic.

Main differences will be comfort, riding position, sturdiness, magnetic vs friction resistance, larger footprint. I would recommend getting the sunny health or another spin bike (Walmart had a gozone one for similar pricing but sold out) since the price difference isn't much. Not sure about the one in OP but if you're taller it may be an issue.

Just tried ordering from your link and it ships to me (BC)

Worth trying out the one in OP, see if you like biking or not

From the reviews: "If you're short/kind of short, this may not be the bike for you. I'm 5'8" and have long legs. I have the seat at it's lowest setting, but my feet barely stay on the pedals when at the fullest extension of my legs. It works but it feels like my feet are going to lose the pedals."

Is this true?
(I'm short so I'm looking for a real-person review on the height.)

ETA: Still reading reviews — looks like "don't buy if you're short" is a common thing.

The Exerpeutic stuff is really good. We have (and are currently selling after upgrading to a smart bike trainer) the recumbent version of this bike which looks to use the same magnetic drive box. It's super quiet and has a nice wide range of tension. Everyone in our family bought them around the same time and no complaints from anyone on theirs.

More reviews: https://www.google.com/shopping/product ... jV6BAgBEE4

Specifically:
"He is 5'9" and I'm 5'2". I need to take the bike seat down to where I don't even use the last hole or the screw which holds the seat in place. Rock bottom!! I have a 28" inseam."

So if the seat goes down below the last hole, it might work for short people? We really need a real-owner review.

This is a good price for what you get it appears. I'm awaiting delivery of our new elliptical and it set us back $2200. I would have rather bought this, but I have to keep my wife happy Neutral Face

Although this might be a good deal, it looks like the low handlebar position is supposed to emulate a race/road bike.
Leaning forward with one's neck bent up is unhealthy and ridiculous considering there is no wind resistance to overcome. I have bought three Marcy foldables with a much more sensible and comfortable handlebar position.

What needs to be plugged in and where? Definitely not a power outlet, the display is battery powered

Ellipticals are more expensive but I tend to prefer them. You are exercising against your own weight in addition to whatever resistance settings you've got on.
With these bikes, you are working out against just the resistance, so you would need to pedal faster or against much higher resistance values, to get more work done.
