[Amazon Canada] The Fifth Element (4K Ultra HD+Blu-ray+UltraViolet) - $17.99 (same price at BB)

Just saw the The Fifth Element on 4K blu-ray for sale at Amazon.ca and BestBuy.ca for $17.99. I believe this is an all time low, and the transfer is best version of this movie so far. Make sure you use the UV code before they permanently shut down the site on July 31, 2019.

Great movie until the Ruby Rhod character showed up. Man was that character annoying. Couldn't finish the movie.

Super-green deal.

I sat on the fence about buying this for a third time for the 4k upgrade. Finally did a few weeks ago and it's well worth it - superb job on the 4k transfer.

It won't die until streaming platforms offer lossless versions of their blu-ray counterparts. Also, in a cap limit world, it makes more sense for people to buy physical versions instead of burning through their entire monthly cap after watching a handful of movies. If you have unlimited data, then it's moot.

I also stand by my dying mediums. I really like owning things outright, and also uncompressed video and audio. However, I did cave when it came to music so who knows when they finally start coming out with more comprehensive streaming platforms.

Who would pay $20 to watch a movie from the 90s? You'd have to pay me.
