Huh.
14.88/80=0.186$ Ea
11.27/64=0.176$ Ea

Is this cheaper than the Costco in store when on sale?

Finish is on sale at Costco right now, 140 tabs for $14.99, but it's not Quantum Max, just regular Powerball tabs IIRC.

Finish sucks. Switched to Cascade platinum and it's so much better.

This. Was surprised when I bought cascade platinum temporarily because they were out of finish. Not switching back.

You are right! I thought it was 60 instead of 64. Thanks for providing clarification!

I thought it was just me, but I second this. I bought the pods once and even after the rinse cycle finished, there was undissolved detergent residue all over the place, some parts were tinted blue/green, etc. You don't even need any of the premium stuff from Cascade, the cheapest liquid/gel dunks on Finish and allows you to portion it appropriately for your dishes, so you probably get way more wash cycles per $ anyway.

Not to turn this into a Finish vs Cascade debate - but is Cascade really that much better?

Got a Bosch dishwasher and it had Finish recommendations all over it and the literature - so I went with it.

I just got a Bosch dishwasher as well and had finish as the recommended detergent. This is most likely due to a partnership that Bosch has with Finish to advertise their product and not solely on best detergent for the dishwasher. Cascade is on sale at Costco starting April 4, looks like I'll be trying that

Likely "recommended" due to a co-marketing agreement, thats usually how those work

I've tried both and quantum finish did a much better job than cascade. So have been in the quantum camp since we got our bosch dishwasher.

Primarily asian and western dishes.

Thx op.

Before buying these, I urge you guys to watch this video:

It's long but well worth the watch. There's even a follow up video where he addresses some of the feedback he's got.

In a nutshell, detergent is detergent. You can use anything in your dishwasher and it will work, but you need to use your dishwasher PROPERLY. Pre-heating your hot water from your kitchen sink and always use pre-wash detergent will always do the job. I've been using these two for a while:

Main detergent:
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/cascade-co ... 0202447556
Pre wash:
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/great-valu ... 0197433406

Add powder to main detergent slot and a few drops of pre-wash in the pre-wash slot. If you want, you can skip the dishwashing liquid and just toss the powder on the dishwasher's floor and it will be your pre-wash detergent.

These two last an eternity, way way cheaper than any "packet" dishwasher in the market and my dishes always come out clean as new.

This guy's videos are great, they helped convince me to not have buyer's remorse over a portable AC during last summer's heat wave. I'm 10 minutes into this video and feel bad that I've learned a lot of what he's saying through experimenting and observing how my (very similar but crappier dishwasher) works. I guess this will be answered soon, but I just use the same detergent for both the prewash and main wash cycles, just a bit of it into both compartments.
