[Amazon.ca] Fire HD 10 tablet back on sale - 32gb $149.99 | 64gb $189.99 - Possibly $149.99 YMMV

It looks like the Fire HD 10 is back on sale.

32 GB for $149.99
64 GB for $189.99

I contacted Amazon via chat to see if I can get the 64 GB for the $149.99 price that was in the past. After some discussion, they offered me the $40 discount to drop the price to the same as the 32 GB. This was a strictly YMMV.

Folks really should've bought it.

I posted a dozen times how good this was, probably way better than anything this year or early next.

Amazon has been known to let price errors sit if they're not crazy off the mark.

The nay sayers really hurt the community in that last thread, in my opinion.

The 32GB is still reasonable value through Staples at $139.99 after $10 coupon.

God bless, gents.

I didnt downvote. Just wanted to let people know that the price can go even lower if they are patient enough.

Hell yeah. I bought 3 in total. 2 for us and 1 for my mom. With the firetoolkit this is a great tablet. Very fluid and good screen resolution. I'm even impressed with the battery life.

Yes I missed the deal as I was about to purchase the 64 GB for $149 but the price had changed. It looks like they also lowered the regular price to $199.99 as it used to be $239.99 before. Here is hoping for the 64 GB version for $149 :D

I still think $139.99 CAD for the 32GB is reasonable (Staples.ca after $10 off coupon).

If you're doing a lot of cloud based stuff, the difference in user experience between the 32GB and 64GB is minimal. Even if you're not, 32GB is plenty for apps, and 64GB isn't enough if you're storing a lot of local media. You'll want to use a microSD either way. Remember, the modified legacy version of Android running on this tablet allows for flexibility in terms of use of the microSD storage.

OP doesn't deserve the proverbial Rikishi butt-squat press to the face.

Upvoted.

Reasonable deal, just remember to buy from Staples to get it for $139.99 after $10 coupon.

Stay blessed, folks.

I've got the 2019 version, and after using the Fire Toolbox to get google services on there, it's been great. I keep circling around on the new version. The specs on the 2021 version aren't hugely different than the 2019 one, some more RAM, better brightness... but same CPU and same GPU. To buy or not to buy, that is the question...

Would you be able to post a screenshot for $149 for the 64G?

I got an email, but as I said, it is YMMV. Just message them and see what you can do.

That is what they told me as well, but I asked if they can do something for me.

BTW, if you do the return/refund often, you could get blacklisted. There is mention of this on RFD by users who did this and it caused them issues down the road.

Better to get costco membership ... returning is easy-peasy ...

So far my experience with the $150 Fire 10 has been generally positive after using Fire Toolbox but I do keep running into this issue I call a "Super Lag" where the whole tablet will slow to a painful crawl for 3-5 minutes and then return back to normal.

It could be an issue with Google Services not playing too well with the tablet and it does annoy me quite a bit. I probably should have spent a bit more and got a Samsung Tab A but $150 I'm not going to be too sad.

Nope, I order a F ton of stuff off amazon

At 180 orders and counting for this year, 10 year + account

People getting blacklisted are probably doing it on a new account with 3 orders, and returning 3 orders

Not everyone will be ordering that much from Amazon.

Good to know that they treat small buyers like Sh!t ...
