Typical sale price is $99 CAD. Typical .com/US sale price is $75 USD so $100 CAD is where it should be priced.

Link goes to the old remote version. New 3rd gen remote version is the same price. (New remote has single button access to Disney+, Netflix, Prime and 1 more I forget.)

Snappier and essentially just a built in alexa speaker. Just pony up a bit more and get the shield pro.

Upgraded from a 4k max to this and dramatically noticed kodi ran smoother, menus, scraping, everything.

You can connect a webcam and use it for video calls. It doesn't sound like much but it's a feature sadly missing from most streaming devices and smart TVs

I was going to buy from Staples on Black Friday, but held back due to the old remote.
Will wait a few months for it to hit $99.99 again and use a $10 coupon when Staples has the new version in stock.

I just picked one up from bestbuy tonight.

I agree. It makes Kodi a much more pleasant navigation experience over both the 4K and 4K max. 4k was brutal. The 4K max is decent and somewhat acceptable. But the cube runs it like a champ. Might end up keeping it. Too bad I can't return the 4K Max.

Installed a Voice Search bridge so that voice commands can search SmartTube Next instead of bringing up the native YouTube app. Pretty nice being able to tell Alexa to search YouTube videos without having to use the remote.
