Lite $30*
Regular $40*
4K $50*
4k Max $75

*Prime price, clarified below. With no Prime the Max is probably the best buy.

Does the Max allow lossless TrueHD audio? That's one thing missing from the 4k. Had to get a shield pro

Wait for BF maybe? No time machine in my basement, but I paid $35 for this last November so I suspect there might be a better deal for folks who are willing to wait. ($50 sounds like it should be MSRP if you ask me).

I got it for $45 with 20x Optimum points last year. Wasn’t too bad at all

I will wait for the new 4K Max on sale. As far as I know, the Max supports Netflix Atmos, but the 4K doesn't.

Not to take away from this great device, but as someone who has owned both, I find Google TV to be a way superior product.

I have both, they seem pretty similar to me, any particular reason? The Google is a little bit faster, but I prefer the firetv remote.

4K supports ATMOS on Disney+ and Prime Video, but NO on Netflix. I have an ATMOS soundbar that displays the audio format... You will know if you do some search on the internet. By the way, the Cube supports Netflix Atmos.

The 4K stick is still better than the lite or non 4K versions, even if you own a 1080P TV as its faster and supports mpeg2. I've had one hooked to a bedroom 1080P TV and it been great and downscales 4K content with no problem.
