I don't think it supports Dolby vision, anyone can confirm? I tried play some DV contents but had no picture, only sound.

Was a fan of Firestick for the last few years, until i got the Tivo Stream a month or so back. Way better experience in pretty much every way... great device. Give it a shot if you can find it on sale.

Alexa voice control only works with compatible TVs (that is, to control the TV itself). My Samsung model can only be controlled to the extent of turning it off with Alexa. Or perhaps on, I've forgotten.

You can use voice control for a TV remote IR command. I use it to switch inputs on the TV (e.g., "switch to fire tv" or "switch to cable box")

the newest 2021 version is the same 4k stick from 2018, but they just updated the remote to include a bunch of app buttons for netflix, disney+, prime, etc. Kinda lame.

I have one its not. except the price was decent it was 46 bucks shipped from the states on a sale.

I bought it for my son's room to replace the firestick so it could easily merge with his android phone....But he went back to the stick instead. Doesn't work any better and he's familiar with the stick and his profile is already set up. I thought the tivo remote was decent but he prefered the firestick remote.

To setup with the tivo is kinda a pain you have to use a us adress to activate. But its basically the same as the cgtv but its really not better than the firestick in anyway. I would buy it over the cgtv as its easier to add external stuff I wager although never tried. It did run off the 1 amp usb port of the tv like the firestick did but both use micro usb for power vs usb-c.

Thanks and I can read that too but somehow I just couldn't play DV on it. Too many false advertising out there , I don't know if it's one of those or just me got a defective stick, that's why I asked for if someone can confirm it actually supports DV.
