Between this and the Bowflex 3.1, which is better? Based on other posts, seems like this one has more angles to choose from.

I have the bowflex and I think it's probably slightly better built, but having the adjustability is huge. Also this is a bit cheaper and 800lb weight capacity so I think you will be satisfied

So about 10 days ago i was just browsing through the fitness reality stuff and saw they had 1 in stock of the bench and 810xlt combo for 445 plus tax, i quickly ordered it and now they are saying it wasnt in stock and could take 2 to 4 weeks to ship. Anyone know the likelihood of this bench and rack combo actually shipping? Or will they eventually just cancel it??

I purchased the rack+bench back in march for $459. Seemed to be regular price for the combo back then.

The one thing about this bench and the Bowflex 3.1 is that they don't have 30 degree incline, which is pretty useful for incline bench press. The closes to 30 degrees for the Fitness Reality bench is 15 degrees and 45 degrees, whereas the Bowflex is just 45 degrees.

Finally used this bench tonight. Really solid.

My only complaint is the bench is a bit high off the ground which makes my Powertec power rack's safety catches either too high or too low.

Anyone have the 2000 version?
The 1000 will probably come back down again, it's hit the $168 price point a couple times in the past few months.

I don't own the 2000 but looks pretty good though, love that it gapless between the seat and backrest unlike the 1000.

I do prefer the no gap since I am more familiar with the benches at Goodlife which don't really have a gap, only thing that bothers me is that the top of the benches width is roughly 8-9 inches compared to the 1000 which is 12 inches. Im not the widest but I guess its always better to have more width support on top. Im conflicted though, the 2000 is tempting...
