They were probably buying them for $9.00, expensing them, which cost us $150.00 in admin costs for processing each payment.
In the end we might be better of buying them ourselves.

my MP knocked on my door at some point election time and I asked about a forgotten promise about a free flag, promised me again to send it personally but just BS. Never got the flag. Never got my vote lol.

I got a flag from my MP this year. Just sent an email and I was asked to come pickup at my convenience. The 100 year ones are the special flags that flew on Peace Tower/Parliament Hill.
