[Amazon.ca] Free Amazon Prime & $100 off Telus Phone

Look at this link and it should be self-explanatory.
I am not sure if it's a good deal or not (better than no deal lol).

Not a deal. I mean unless your forced on Telus or something... Are these not also the people lying changing rates on Public Mobile? Who knows what a company like that would do next.

Also Kodoo less then $50 plan seems much better.

it's $100 OFF, not $100 phone.

not a good deal
bad writeup (self explanatory)
incorrect info ($100 off vs $100 phone)
posting a self admittedly not a good deal ("not sure if it's good deal or not")

minus 4 points

Maybe it's just me, but I down vote any thread that says "link is self-explanatory, guess it's a deal". You're doing free promotion for them with no effort.

Yeah my bad.

I don't think it's a deal for existing customers.
However, might be worth something if you are a new customer.

$100 off a phone > nothing off.
2 years of free Amazon Prime > $99/year Amazon Prime.

Maybe it’s time you check out some university courses.

I bought that Amazon Echo deal that came with a year of Amazon Prime. I never got it. I followed up, no response. So never again.

I think Amazon will be the last company on earth that will not respond to complaints. Try again?

Don't let them get away with it. File a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario: https://www.ontario.ca/page/filing-consumer-complaint

Edit: Oops, I just assumed that you're from Ontario. Well I'm pretty sure most provinces have a similar agency, so you can look yours up and see what their procedure is.

The more we let these big companies get away with these deceptive practices, the more they will be emboldened to keep doing it.

I bought Echo with TELUS as well. Got my free year of Amazon prime - the email with Amazon Prime code came from TELUS exactly 1 month after the purchase of Echo. Just had to login to amazon and enter the code. Amazon added a year of prime service by pushing expiration date a year further.
