[Amazon Canada] Freshlocker Vacuum Sealer Bags 4 mil, 100 pcs (two sizes) - 11.99 / 22.39 (Lightning Deal) (Sold Out)

Both size bags are sold out

I found this precut bag comes pretty handy. Besides, you can increase the lifespan of the sealing element from your machine. This is 4mil,5 ply which is thicker than many other brands. There are two different sizes. Small one is $11.99 and Large one is $22.39.

Heavy-duty Quality: 5 ply, 4MIL Professional Commercial grade multi-ply material block oxygen and moisture. Embossed air-removal channels increase suction for maximum freshness.
Food Safe Material - BPA Free and FDA Approved for Long-term Food Save, Freezer Storage, Microwave, and Sous Vide Vaccum Cooking.
Retains Flavor Longer: Vacuum sealing locks in freshness and flavor. Helps slow down food spoilage while increase storage time and nutritional value.
Fits all Vacuum sealers: By design Yeasincere Vacuum Bags can is used in all leading brand style clamp Vacuum Machine.

Got 1 pak...
Still had some left from my last deal (100 pak of 3.5 mil at 12.59 no tax).
So another 100 of 4.0 mil at 11.99 no tax is pretty decent.
This size are perfect for my home made cold smoked salmon.

The seller tends to increase the available quantities if he sees many customers waiting for the deal, so try to join waitlist if it is 100% claimed. The small one is available again.

The price for the large is almost double, but if you calculate by area, it is just a little bit more expensive.

Small : 11.99 / (8 x 12) = 0.1248958333333333
Large : 22.39 / (11 x 16) = 0.1272159090909091

For larger size, I personally to simply use the rolls and make my own bag.

I did that too, but I found that it is roughly the same length. Sometimes, I cut even more than I anticipate. However, everyone has different preference. Now, I have both rolls and bags too.

It is better to have both (roll and bags). They have their own advantages. Rolls can be customized for the size. Bags offers convenient, increase the lifetime of sealing element for the machine and price is cheaper in this case.

So with rolls:

11"x50'
8"x50'

I ended up getting it at $0.30682 / sqft

The small bags of 100 are $0.17985 / sqft ($11.99)
The large bags of 100 are $0.18319 / sqft ($22.39)

Size of the bag is fixed and precut. One side of the bag is already sealed. Then following the same procedure as you use the roll
