FYI, There are a lot of fake Furminators out there, and if the price is too good to be true, its likely fake. If you look at the reviews, one person suspects its not the real thing.

Thats what I assumed at first, but its being directly sold by amazon. Where as the other ones on the furminator amazon page lists other sellers at the lower prices.

Edit: I lied, its just being fulfilled by amazon. Too bad!

I bought few from aliexpress, compared to the real one - indistinguishable, who cares if it's a knock off for 5-6$

I bought a fake one ages ago on Amazon for $7 and it's held up really well. It gets more use than my real one since the dog prefers it. The link is below but it's been OOS for months

Real ones kind of gently remove loose hair... fake ones pull hair out.

Ive used both, and you can feel the difference when you comb it.

I bought this one and use it occasionally. My dog doesn't seem to mind it.

Got a range of furminators from aliexpress while my dog was growing, went from puppy to 130lbs. I have 3 furminators of various sizes that have all held up with weekly use over the years. The "real" furminators are an extortinate price for what they are.

I've had several Furminators and they seem to remove fur forever, no matter how long one combs. I suspect that they actually cut the fur with their sharp edged teeth. They may also remove undercoat fur.

I wonder if they use them to groom their dogs in China before skinning them alive? Dog lovers should be ashamed of themselves for using Chinese products.
