If only the Euro games would go down to these prices. That being said smaller manufacturers need to sell for more to cover their cost due to the cost of development and production. I would imagine those costs were paid off for Sorry and Monopoly many many years ago and now it's just profit.
I feel compelled to mention that Hasbro has dropped quality so significantly that the cheap plastic on Hungry Hippos doesn't seem to be able to make it past the day the kids receive them. Wish they'd spend the extra 3 cents.
Geeze. Just got Sorry delivered. Amazon didn't even bother to put it in any shipping packaging. Literally just the boardgame box wrapped in its plastic, and they just slapped on a sticker. Of course the box is dented and scraped from shipping
Ditto. Mine arrived damaged. No packaging, just the label. This is becoming a regular occurrence for me. Last two items I ordered from Amazon came damaged as well. They were just throw in a cheap "brown paper bag" like packaging, which offers zero protection for the item inside.
