[Amazon Canada] Glencairn Whisky Glass - Twin Pack - $18.26 (Lightning deal)

The Glencairn Whisky Glass - Twin Pack

Amazon Lightning Deal - $18.26, regular price $24. It's a warm deal for those who regularly drink scotch/whisky, otherwise I guess it's good to have a couple for when people come over. Cheers

The 4 and 6 packs are a better deal, if you need multiples.

I recently bought one at $8.99 for Anchor Hocking brand from London Drugs...for those with stores close to you. Buy online for in store pickup. Even has "The Glencairn Glass" etched on the bottom. Same as the one sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
See my Buy Sell Trade ad for Replacement Panasonic Shaver Blades and Foils.

Personally I'm not a fan of this shape of glass. IMO, it's preferable to have something with a wider rim so you can get your nose in there and smell the whisky. Plus, it's awkward to tip a tiny glass back.

Crate and barrel used to have them for $5 or $6 each. They seem to not always be in stock.

Edit: nvm- they list the, for $13 each on the crate website. Not sure of price in store.

Essentially the same price at bed bath beyond. $12 less the usual 20% coupon.

regular price is 9.95 at the linen chest, and they often go on sale. i actually prefer the canadian whisky glass by glencairn for my scotch. it's bigger and easier to drink from, while still being adequate for nosing.

How do you get "the usual coupon"? I have used one a week ago but I don't remember how and where I got it.

Did they raise the price on these recently? I used to buy them at Bed Bath and Beyond and they were only $8.99 . Last one I bought was about 6 months ago. Or maybe the stores are cheaper than online?

About once a month or so BBB has an insert with the weekly flyers with a 20% off coupon on the back. I imagine you could get a copy instore, too.

They come by mail every 4 to 6 weeks. If you're an email sub they arrive at the same time. Failing that you can sometimes find a coupon in a home outfitters flyers and request a match.

Last one I bought a few months ago was $12 in store. Perhaps a price increase?

I think you're right considering that London Drugs still sells them for $8.99 regular price....
