[Amazon.ca] GOLABS Portable LiFePO4 Battery/Generator - 80$ off - 169.99 reg 249.99

This is a LiFePO4 portable power station device with AC outlets and USB power delivery. Useful for camping and emergency use. It seems to be about 200Wh, which is a decent size for the price, and it's a LiFePO4, not a Li-Ion, so it should last a lot longer lifespan wise than many other of these.

It's currently 80$ off, might be a good deal for those looking for one. You have to add the coupon.

Purchased a 10Ah raw battery for $100. Had to convert this to Ah and it's about 17Ah which includes a battery controller, plugs and case for $200. Seems like a good deal.

Shame it doesn't have 12v cig lighter output, would've made it much more useful.

Comes with a cig cable actually, I haven't had a good chance to use it but I picked this exact model up about a month ago when it had $100 off.

They also shipped a cable carry pouch after I ordered it (seems random and way too big for its cables but smaller then the unit itself) but YMMV.

Huh, where does it connect to? The bigger model has a place to plug it but this doesn't seem to have one.

Edit nevermind, seems it connects to the 12v barrel plug output. That does make it a lot more useful, could power my portable fridge when car is off or outside.

I bought the 300 watt one for 300. they had the 100 dollar off. I think the bigger one is much better, but this one is less than 200. The price is good and I would get it, if i didn't get the bigger one already

Is Golab reputable? Review rating seems poor.

I like your you're thinking but what's the warranty on it? If it's 3 years, then the question is would you spend an average of $600/yr to break even?

I don't think it will work. Air conditioner use 500 to 1000 watt per hour. your 2 solar panels will create 200 watts at best. Unless you use air conditioner for 1 or 2 hours until its depleted. you would need at least 5 hours of direct sunlight to charge it.

I wouldn't trust this with sensitive electronics cuz it's only a modified sinewave. Great price otherwise.

Ryobi has a 40v 300w pure sinewave inverter that goes on sale for $99, a much better route if you've already got 40v batts.

Thanks

Ordered one. Funny enough I took an APC from home for power but did not last more than one charge for two phones

Yeah the reviews are as fake as it gets, matching 1000% fake paid reviews (top xxx reviewer, long winded paragraphs, many photos of the thing just sitting on the table, videos).

Jackery has a better/powerful 12v jack, there's a few videos that compare it to something that looks similar to the golabs. They all have pros and cons
