Not a bad deal if these are being used as emergency batteries - but not as reliable backups. I was getting the same if not better performance than my OEM battery during my Tremblant trip. All I can say is thank god I had 4 because it lasted me for a few hours of continuous recording each day. They're both 1220 mAh, so they should have the same battery life. Bought the same set for my Hero 7 Black and it arrived a couple of days ago. So far I've put at least one cycle on each of the batteries. I bought another aftermarket brand for my Hero 5 Black. They worked fine indoors but when I brought them kayaking/skiing, they died really fast. They don't retain power that well either. I just got back from a walk outside (head mounted) was able to get 54 ish minutes with 1% left on Artman battery #3.
Although I'm tempted to buy genuine batteries if they become a bit cheaper...
