I believe you, I am little nervous about the night scenes in dark room environment how we enjoy the night scenes on OLED, iam skeptical that the ambient lighting could ruin the quality of those night /dark scenes- I could be wrong but this is what stopping me

The white balance adjustment feature is a game changer imo

Just set up today and then when I went back into the app the adjustment was there. Adds a whole new layer of customization

May I know the hardware version of your Govee? Is it 3.02.01? I have one govee with that hw version and it can update to 1.08.12 firmware with the supposedly white balance setting. I have another govee immersion with hw version 1.00.01 and it can’t see the 1.08.12 fw update and it’s currently stuck on 1.06.02 fw. Someone commented on reddit that hw version 1.00.01 couldn’t get fw updates anymore. Not sure if this is accurate.

Btw, I was able to update to 1.08.12 but couldn’t see the white balance option. Anything you did for it to show up?

Didn't play with the settings too much. Didn't have time to. But here's the result @Ridinginoffice7. Starts to get interesting at 30s. At first I was very sceptic but the more I used, the more I liked it.

Here's the white adjustment. Should be there on 1.08.12 HW 3.02

The same way one would mount it on top I guess. With the double sided tape right in the middle.

PS : disregard the colors, it wasn't set on video mode.

I also mounted the camera on the bottom however after a month I had to recalibrate the camera as all the points were off. Probably due to tiny bit of sag in the camera adhesive backing. Still works perfectly after calibrating though.

This is the scene :

The torch makes the strips go fiiiiiire. Pretty cool IMO.
I like a dummy had saturation up to 100 and made everything red. Made blues nice and blue but made things that aren't red red for some reason. Turned saturation down and you're right. This scene was great...I watched it many times with different settings. The ladies screaming got on my nerves lol

I cast your video onto my tv with my lights. Very inception like hahaha.

Yeah looks great. I wish when the carriage tipped over and the light swung up to the top right hand of the screen(towards the end of your video)....I wish there was a better light representation. But can't be too choosy.

Ohh I see what you mean, might be that it got calibrated wrong. Was too excited to see what it looks like. But I do agree that it should have turned red.

Got this but the camera doesn't seem to pick up the far end of a 65" too well. I have the camera mounted on the bottom and it detects great on the bottom, okay on the sides, and bad at the top.

Still a nice kit overall for the price, but it works better for the smaller end of their range. I also like the bars because they expand the lighting further.
