[Amazon.ca] GUNNAR Optiks Scope Advanced Video Gaming Glasses with Carbon/Amber $19.66

These glasses block 65% of blue light and reduce eye strain for people staring at a computer screen all day. The price of $19.66 is very good since other Gunnar Glasses sell for at least $70. This item is shipped from and sold by Amazon.

Unfortunately it says the shipping time is 1-3 months right now.

Cheap price and 1-3 months shipping sounds like Chinese knockoff.

Thanks, been using a knock off for work but that 0.25 really does help so bought one to replace it.

Never knew of such an item, do they really help? I do a fair bit of computer tasks at work and rare gaming at home, wonder if I'll see benefit here.
Please don't ask or beg for "thanks". Don't act like this is Facebook. If someone found your post helpful, let them decide if they want to make that click. The more you beg, the less you'll get. Cheers

Had one and it does help the eyes.
The tint goes away after using for a while.
thanks OP.
Best deal (from almost 20 years ago): 2 boxes (20 reams of 500) of HP 92 white papers from staples for $7.00
Back when staples price match and takes off 50% of the price difference. (2004)

Personal anecdotal experience... These help a lot. I use this and flux at the same time.

Copy and paste of my usual take on Gunnars or these kind of glasses in general.
If you don't need prescription, you're a cheapo, and you don't mind waiting a couple weeks/months on delivery then $7ish on Ali https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2016-An ... gdeals.com

I had Gunnars originally, broke them, and grabbed this one off Ali. It's pretty good actually, although a little stiff at first so you may need to loosen the screws and depending on head size, adjust so it isn't too tight.

As for these types of glasses themselves, I do recommend them for people who spend a lot of time on the computer. I do feel like I notice a difference in terms of eye strain and I think most important of all, if you're a late night gamer/computer user, I feel like you're not as wired when you try to go to bed shortly after - you relax easier. Of course, there's some growing pains with glasses like these and it takes a bit to adjust to the now seemingly piss stained RFD page where the white is now yellowish, but after a couple days it's no biggie. I know the alternative to some of this is software like Flux and alike, but I've never really liked it and I don't feel like it's quite the same - could be all in my head though.

Thanks OP!

I've always wanted a pair to try (just putting them on at demos doesn't really count I think)

You can order blue-coat or similar computer lens if you have prescription from your eyewear store. I buy them specifically for computer use because I am looking at multiple screens at work. It does make the white a little yellow, but it's a lot more comfortable after hours.

On Windows 10, I just activate the blue filter.

Is this only for console gaming?
