Great unit. Got it back in 2016 for $400 from Costco, $50 increase is a bit above inflation but bearable. Southern Ontario is super hot this week so order fast.

What good is Canadian warranty though? The price to ship means its not even worth the weight of the paper the warranty is written on. No? Am I mistaken?

Costco's return policy is unmatched. Can take anything back no questions asked. I know people who buy AC units at the beginning of summer and return it at the end of summer.

I believe I bought it from Costco a few weeks ago for 469. Do you think Costco will price match it?

Costco doesn’t price match no one . They adjust the price of item if price goes lower at their own store within 30 days .

we have the danby 14k from costco when on sale 399 and we fine it not that great. Going 24/7 and would keep the livingroom and open kitchen area at 25C so not great at all.

It's designed for rooms up to 500 sq. ft. only.

Thank god I own this. It's been a hot hot weekend. I had Danby before this, return that POS to Costco. Haier is noticeably better at cooling and being quiet. My only gripe is the spartan remote control.

PS: if you buy it, the temperature set on it = the a/c will stop once room temperature goes below the set temperature (not when it reaches that temperature).

You can’t expect a portable AC to cool multiple rooms.

That’s strange. These portable units are supposed to cool an entire house.
