I'm not sure I understand what a gaming chair is. It seems like some weird hybrid between an office chair and a racing seat.

I've even seen some gaming chairs with the holes by each shoulder, which for racing seats is meant for pass-through of the 5-point harness, but is seemingly just for looks in a gaming chair. This one has a bucket seat, but what's that for? I don't believe I've ever done any tight corners at my desk.

$120 tax in for a used Global office chair from your local used office supplies depot is always the better choice. YMMV on conditions of items tho of course.

Much better to buy a used reputable ergonomic chair like Steelcase, Humanscale, etc.

IMO if there is office building shutting down near your area because of the pandemic, go check them out and contact owners. I scored two aeron and a embody for 140 each.. they are the most comfortable office chair ever

have the people hating on this chair actually sat and used this chair before?

My friend has one, and I've sat in it and thought it was pretty good... definitely better than some of the no name brand gaming chairs and dx racer. I've not tried Secret Lab, but the razer enforced a noticably better posture than most chairs I've tried. I've tried a lot of the cheaper Staples chairs, IKEA chairs, etc. and my own daily driver is a $1300+ Humanscale Freedom... I mean I like the Humanscale better but this is way cheaper and I thought it was a pretty good chair.

Actually, since this is ISKUR X and not ISKAR, maybe the posture wont' be as good - I am not sure my friend had the X or not but I was impressed by the lumbar support so maybe it wasn't the X.

Either way, it's unlikely to be the total dumpster trash than some people are insinuating it is.

It says "For gamers. By gamers" at the front of the chair lol. Is that supposed to be cool? because I find that quite tacky and cringey.

Also, gaming is more associated with sweat and long hours sitting down so I would rather recommend getting an ergonomic mesh chair instead. Your back will thank you for it.

Most gamer chairs are made to look like race chair seats, but are generally not the best ergonomics.
Back sweat likely an issue since the back isn't breathable.
