That's a really good price for a 10,000 btu window AC, especially with wifi. Won't find this kind of deal during the summer!

Does this work with sliding style window (left -> right instead of top/down)?

It can if it will fit in the window, but it may require you to cover the rest of the window in some way.
Quick Installation: Air conditioner window unit fitting window openings for 24” - 39” wide and minimum 15'' high, mounted window kit are included, Save your time and installation cost

It doesn't come with a window mounting bracket. A proper mounting bracket will set you back another $50 to $100.

It's also LOUD, compared to Midea U 10000.

Save your shekels and get the Midea U 10000 when it goes on sale for $400-$450 range.

Being an RFDer I'm happier paying half price for something then spending twice as much.
